LAS VEGAS – A funeral service and procession were held on Friday, August 14th, to honor Officer Austin Abdelnabi of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD). Officer Abdelnabi, who was killed in the line of duty on August 4th, was ambushed while responding to a call.
Officer Abdelnabi was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. Before joining the LVMPD in 2023, he served as a United States Marine veteran.
