August 11, 2026 – PRESSADVANTAGE –

Hadjikyriakos & Sons Ltd, the appliance and household goods retailer established in 1886, has confirmed that its home appliance range is now available to residents of the Larnaca and Famagusta districts through island-wide delivery. The retailer operates physical stores in Nicosia, Limassol and Paphos, and the change extends the availability of its core selection of white goods and domestic appliances to two districts that previously sat outside its immediate store network.

The company has stated that customers in areas such as Larnaca town, Paralimni and Ayia Napa have generally travelled to one of the three existing stores to view and purchase larger appliances. Under the delivery arrangement, refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, built-in ovens and hobs can be ordered and delivered to homes across both districts without a visit to a store.

Hadjikyriakos & Sons was founded in 1886 and has operated continuously since that time. The business functions as both a distributor and a retailer, and carries a portfolio of international brands that includes Miele, AEG, Bosch, Neff and Electrolux. The home appliance category has historically formed the core of the company’s retail activity, alongside its other divisions in small domestic appliances, sanitary ware, kitchen furniture and professional catering equipment.

The home appliance range covered by the extended service spans several product groups. These include refrigeration, comprising fridges, freezers and wine coolers; laundry and dishwashing appliances, such as washing machines, tumble dryers and dishwashers; and cooking appliances, including built-in ovens, hobs and extractor hoods. The company also lists cooling and cleaning products, among them air conditioners and vacuum cleaners, within its wider catalogue. The brands the company represents are distributed both through its own stores and through a network of resellers across the island.

Constantinos Hadjikyriakos, who leads the family business, described the extension of delivery coverage as a step intended to make the company’s existing range accessible to more households. “The company has served customers in the Larnaca and Famagusta districts for many years, and a number of them have travelled to a store to complete a purchase,” he said. “Extending delivery of the home appliance range to these districts allows those customers to order the same products without making that journey.”

The Famagusta district includes several coastal communities where properties are used as holiday accommodation or second homes. The company has noted that owners of such properties periodically replace household appliances, and that the delivery arrangement provides those owners with an alternative to travelling to a store. The Larnaca district, which combines the town with surrounding residential areas, is served under the same arrangement.

Delivery of home appliances to the two districts is accompanied by the after-sales support the company provides to customers in its established store areas. That support covers product guidance, warranty handling and assistance following a purchase. The company has stated that customers in the additional districts receive the same terms of service as those living near a physical store.

The retailer has arranged the expanded coverage so that orders placed from the two districts follow the same handling process as orders within the existing store areas. Deliveries are scheduled through the company’s distribution network, which already covers much of the island, and larger items are transported to the customer’s address rather than to a collection point. The company has indicated that delivery timeframes for the two districts are consistent with those applied elsewhere.

The three existing stores in Nicosia, Limassol and Paphos continue to operate as before, and customers retain the option to view products in person at those locations. The company has stated that the delivery arrangement adds to, rather than replaces, its existing store network. The prioritisation of the home appliance range for the extended service reflects the position of that category within the company’s overall retail activity.

Hadjikyriakos stated that the company intends to review demand across the two districts before deciding on any further measures. “The immediate aim is to serve these communities and to understand what they require,” he said. “Customer response over the coming months will inform how the company develops its coverage in the eastern and southern parts of the island.”

The extended delivery service is in effect from the date of this announcement. The full home appliance range and the details of the delivery arrangement are set out on the company’s website.
