ScreenMeet Launches AI Summary for Tanium, Capturing What Actually Happens in Every Remote Fix
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — ScreenMeet, the remote support platform built to run natively inside the systems IT teams already use, today announced that its AI Summary capability is live for Tanium, a leader in Autonomous IT. Every ScreenMeet Screen Sharing session on Tanium now automatically generates a summary of what happened during the session — no setup, no extra step for the technician, nothing to remember to turn on.
For years, IT teams have had two separate pictures of what happens during a remote fix: what the endpoint tooling can see, and what actually happened in the room, which usually only lived in a technician’s memory or a rushed note after the fact. ScreenMeet AI Summary closes that gap. Every session captures the steps taken, the tools used, the commands run, the device state, and the resolution path, automatically, and makes it visible right in the Tanium console.
That matters most for the part of Autonomous IT that’s hardest to automate: trust. Tanium Atlas is built to move from detecting problems to proposing and approving fixes across an entire fleet. To do that safely, Tanium Atlas needs more than telemetry showing something changed on a device. It needs to know why a fix worked, what a technician tried that didn’t, and that the person on the other end of the session actually confirmed the issue was resolved. ScreenMeet AI Summary is built to supply exactly that. A fix an operator worked out by hand on one machine becomes a documented, structured record Atlas can use to recommend the same fix, with an audit trail, across the rest of the fleet.
None of this asks IT teams to change how they work. ScreenMeet already runs inside the Tanium platform as a native, Tanium-certified integration, so the summary is simply there when the session ends, the same way the session itself already was.
“Autonomous remediation isn’t really an AI problem, it’s a trust problem,” said Brandon Wolfe, Field CTO at Tanium. “Tanium Atlas can move fast, but only if what it’s acting on actually happened the way the data says it did. ScreenMeet AI Summary gives us that ground truth, generated automatically, from sessions our teams are already running.”
“Agentic AI is only as good as the data you feed it, and right now most organizations don’t have any worth feeding it,” said Lou Guercia, COO of ScreenMeet. “The minute a session ends, that knowledge starts to evaporate. No technician is going to reconstruct it all in a ticket note. AI Summary captures it automatically, at a speed and completeness no human writeup can match. You can’t hand an agent the keys to fix things autonomously until you can hand it trusted, structured data about what fixing looks like, and that’s the data remote support has to get right before agentic remote support is even possible.”
ScreenMeet AI Summary for Tanium is available now through the Tanium Integrations Gallery for customers with an active ScreenMeet Remote Support subscription. Full fleet-wide remediation workflows require Tanium Atlas and its associated entitlements. Enterprise IT and support teams already running ScreenMeet on Tanium can enable it through their Tanium account team.
Through the end of 2026, ScreenMeet is making AI Summary complimentary for every current Tanium customer who already has the ScreenMeet Remote Support integration in place, no additional cost, no new contract. Full details on the capability are available on Tanium’s Resource Center.
