HOUSTON, TX, UNITED STATES, September 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Aquanta Vision, in collaboration with Teledyne FLIR, today announced a digital product integration and business partnership to advance detection of methane and other hydrocarbon gases with optical gas imaging (OGI) cameras.
Aquanta Vision’s new AI-supported digital technology analyzes infrared data from the OGI camera to colorize gas plumes live on the display screen, simplifying the task of identifying methane leaks. This technology, dubbed Pixel Analysis Mode, or PAM for short, augments the infrared image by applying advanced intelligence through a tiny app that runs on the OGI camera.
PAM joins Teledyne Flir’s patented High Sensitivity Mode (HSM) as detection tools designed to enhance the optical gas image in challenging conditions, or when inspecting small leaks.

Initially, PAM will be available as an option on Flir Gx320, Gx620, and G620 models purchased worldwide after October 2026. For equivalent models purchased earlier, PAM will be available via a Flir upgrade package.
