Fort Wayne, IN – Prosecutors in Fort Wayne have determined that no criminal charges will be filed in connection with the death of Anita Grayson, a 75-year-old woman.
Grayson died on May 13. Her death was attributed to acute exacerbation of congestive heart failure. This condition reportedly followed a physical altercation that occurred on July 9 with an employee of a Tim Hortons restaurant.
The Allen County Prosecutor’s Office conducted an investigation into the incident. In their findings, the office concluded that the actions taken by the Tim Hortons employee were justified. Specifically, the employee’s actions were deemed to be in self-defense and in defense of a third person.
